I'm Christi, and I founded Doodle Cookie in honor of my hero, my mom.
Her name is Mickey, though our family has known her as "Doodle". Born and raised in St. Louis among a fun, loud, boisterous Irish-Italian family, she carried three loves with her always: birds, the color pink, and the city's famous gooey butter cake. That cake wasn't just dessert in our house, it was tradition. The thread stitched through every family gathering and celebration. Her love of St. Louis became my inspiration to craft gooey butter cookies worth remembering, in flavors as vibrant as she was.
